Tell us about your venue. How long have you been holding weddings and how many weddings do you hold per year?
We have been holding weddings since 2007 when we opened our Deck Bar. We hold on average 1 wedding a month. However during the peak season of October through to April, we hold 1 to 2 weddings per week.
Why should a couple consider your venue over other venues?
Our stylish and sophisticated venue is the prime location for an event. Club Rose Bay has an exclusive outdoor deck with stunning water views, along with a contemporary indoor space with a private bar and dance floor.
We offer flexible catering and beverage packages to suit your event, along with a high quality team of staff more than help you plan your special day!
Our venue is close to Sydney Sea Planes for a spectacular arrival, as well as being close to the buses and ferry wharf. Club Rose Bay is also across the road from stunning Rose Bay Beach which can be used for wedding ceremonies and photos.
What’s the first thing brides usually ask when they come and see you?
The first thing brides ask when they come and see us is if they have to spend a certain amount on food and drinks. This is not the case at Club Rose Bay – it is completely up to you!
What size functions can you hold/host?
Our Deck Bar seats 100 people including the dance floor. However, a cocktail set up would fit 250 people.
For large events however, the Deck Bar lounge can be hired in conjunction with the Monash Hall, seating up to 220 people.
Can couples bring in their own caterer? What about alcohol?
We do not allow outside catering. However, we provide a series of catering options which can be used as a guideline to form your own customised menu to suit your event.
Can the ceremony be held at your venue?
Yes – we are very flexible.
Are the couple free to decorate as they like?
Yes, not a problem at all! We happily invite guests prior to the event to decorate.
If your venue is outdoors is there a backup space in case of rain?
Our Deck Bar has a roof and shutters so weather is never a problem!
ould you give our readers some indication of the range of prices for hiring
Our prices depend on whether couples decide to hold their wedding on a weekday or
weekend, and if they prefer to use the Monash Hall as well as the Deck Bar.
How early do couples need to book you?
We like to know at least 8 weeks before your event depending on the time of year
and the availability of the venue.
What time at night can weddings stay at your venue?
Functions on Fridays and Saturdays are licensed until 12pm, whereas on Sundays
we are licensed only until 10pm.
Do you offer accommodation options?
No we do not, however there are many accommodation options close by as we are
within 10 minutes of Bondi Beach/Junction and Double Bay, and approximately 20
minutes from Sydney’s CBD.
What other (if any) wedding services do you offer?
We supply complementary audio-visual equipment such as a projector and screen,
TV screen, PC connection, microphones and an iPad for Spotify.
