Wedding: Sydney: Freshwater

I've seen brides cry at a bad weather forecast.

Maybe it's growing up in Ireland but I'm slightly nostalgic about rain. To me, rain allows a different, softer colour palette to emerge.

It allows a photographer to capture a slightly more contemplative story, one of thoughts and feelings, not just appearances. For that reason alone I think rain suits a wedding. Don't cry if you get a rain forecast. Realise that every time it rains you'll be reminded of your wedding. And that's a nice thing.

Here's some shots to illustrate what I mean. I shot this wedding recently at Freshwater in Sydney. The full wedding coming soon.
