Tell us about your venue. How long have you been holding weddings and how many weddings do you hold per year?

The Villa Roma has been family owned and operated since 1969 and since grown into a 561-room year round all-inclusive resort. We are happy to say that we only host one wedding per day so our full attention is on you and your guests. If you select the Barn for your wedding venue there is only one wedding per weekend so you get the day prior and following your wedding to do as you please.

Why should a couple consider your venue over other venues?

We are all inclusive resort. When you book your wedding at the Villa Roma whether it be at our newly renovated Clubhouse with Catskill Mountain views or our rustic barn venue, nearly everything you need we offer. Our rates include the venue, catering and bar services, tables, linens, a wedding coordinator and access to our vendor list. On site accommodations are available at a discounted rate for all weddings booked.

What’s the first thing couples usually ask when they come and see you?

One of the first questions that brides and grooms ask how will my wedding look start to finish? Luckily when a couple chooses Villa Roma Resort they get a wedding coordinator that will be with them every step of the way to answer all questions and tie and loose ends. There will be multiple meetings leading up to your wedding to finalize details so your vision can come to life.

What size functions can you hold/host?

Anywhere from 75-250 people. We can also host smaller more intimate weddings in one of our many function rooms.

Can couples bring in their own caterer? What about alcohol?

All bar services are included in our packages and catering is taken care of by our chef and culinary team at the Villa Roma. Couple’s can schedule a complimentary food and cake tasting to finalize their menu options.

Can the ceremony be held at your venue?

Yes, depending on the reception location your ceremony can be held at either our gazebo overlooking Callicoons rolling hills or in front of the barn.

Are the couple free to decorate as they like?

Yes! We want your wedding to fit your vision. You are welcome to bring in any décor you would like. Our staff will decorate with your instruction so you will have nothing to worry about come wedding day.

If your venue is outdoors is there a backup space in case of rain?

Yes, both at the clubhouse and barn there is a backup indoor designated area incase of inclement weather.

Could you give our readers some indication of the range of prices for hiring your venue?

Our wedding packages start at $75 per person which includes the venue, set up, breakdown, food, alcohol, wedding coordinator.

How early do couples need to book you?

We recommend couples booking as early as they know that the Villa Roma is their venue. Some dates are more popular so if you are plan on getting married during our peak fall season booking early is recommended.

What time at night can weddings stay at your venue?

This depends on what package the couple selects (4 or 5 hour open bar) and when their ceremony starts. We offer day time weddings and weddings that start as late at 6pm. After your wedding you and your guests are more than welcome to head down to Marty’s lounge for an after party which will stay open as late as 2am.

Do you offer accommodation options?

Yes, if you book your wedding with us we offer generous discounted room rates for your guests and a complimentary wedding night stay for the bride and room.

What other (if any) wedding services do you offer?

We offer rehearsal dinner options, morning after breakfasts, makeup services, and more.
