Profile: Bridal Fusion by Mascia

For this profile I spoke to Mascia Paradiso, owner of Bridal Fusion by Mascia, a wedding dress boutique in Unley, Adelaide.

NP: Can you tell us about your business? How long have you been helping Adelaide brides find their perfect dress?

MP: Bridal fusion by Mascia is a unique boutique that caters for sizes ranging from size 2 to 32. We cater for Brides, bridesmaids, formals and mother of the bride. I established BFM in July 2016.

NP: Can you explain the collections you offer Adelaide brides?

MP: We have different collections that are exclusive to BFM varying from traditional, modern, eclectic and just plain wow. So for anything different and unique, or modern and traditional with a twist of personal, we have gowns and accessories that will compliment.

NP: What do brides need to know about ordering a dress?

MP: Brides need to know that not all gowns will fill perfectly so make sure you cater or allow space for alterations … that being a hem, or bustle or straps etc. When a gown is a special order remember this gown is being ordered for you.

NP: Whats a typical timeline in ordering a gown from you?

MP: Ordering gowns can vary from 4 days to 4 months, or if it is a Couture gown it may be 5-6 months. It does depend on the brand and whether they have this in stock or if it needs to be a special order for the client.

NP: What makes you a good choice for brides looking for their wedding dress?

MP: Here at BFM every bride is amazing and will never be judged. It’s not the dress that wears you, it’s YOU that wears the dress. We believe customer service and honesty is essential. We will never allow a bride to walk out of our boutique looking nothing less than 100%.

If the dress doesn’t suit your body shape, we will tell you ( in the nicest way) and explain why it doesn’t and then show you what will. If we don’t have a gown that suits you, we will let you know. Honesty is important.

NP: Can you give the readers an indication of the range of prices of your dress?

MP: Our gowns vary from $200 - $4000 and Couture is POA

NP: Do you advise brides on what style of dress might look most flattering on them?

MP: Yes, most definitely. That is the whole point of an appointment. To find the style that suits the brides body shape.

NP: Do brides need to make an appointment with you?

MP: Yes we are exclusively appointment only, so we can provided you with one on one attention and therefore the shop is at the brides exclusive personal viewing.
