Tell us about your venue. How long have you been holding weddings and how many weddings do you hold per year?

Q Station is a beautiful 30 hectare property on North Head, Manly. Q Station is located on the site of Australia’s first Quarantine Station, so we have 65 heritage buildings that have been creatively transformed into hotel accommodation, function spaces, restaurants, a café and museum. Tours for school groups as well as history and paranormal enthusiasts are run daily on site.

We are currently hosting about 25 weddings per year, and would love to do more!

What’s the first thing brides usually ask when they come and see you?

The first thing that couples tell us is that they are amazed by the view. It is really stunning,  the panorama views of Sydney Harbour from Manly to the CBD.  All our ceremony options are outdoors to make the most of that gorgeous sight.

What size functions can you hold/host?

Q Station is available to host functions of 10 people up to 200+ people. We have 13 function spaces to suit groups of any size and theme.

Can couples bring in their own caterer? What about alcohol?

Couples cannot bring in their own food or drinks. Q Station is a fully licensed venue and we run all our own catering. Couples will be able to choose from a range of menu options and service styles.

Can the ceremony be held at your venue?

The ceremony can be held at Q Station, however we do not host ceremony-only packages, it must be paired with a reception of some kind. Pop Up Weddings and Canape Weddings are available for those who wish to have a more relaxed post-ceremony celebration instead of a full sit-down reception.

Are the couple free to decorate as they like?

The couple are free to decorate how they like, within the guidelines of our precious heritage buildings. All packages come with theming options through All Covered Special Events who will make a special consultation to design the wedding of your dreams.

If your venue is outdoors is there a backup space in case of rain?

The venue is outdoors, however all our ceremonies come with a complimentary wet weather back up indoor location.

Could you give our readers some indication of the range of prices for hiring
your venue?

All our prices and information about weddings at Q Station is available on our website: www.qstation.com.au/wedding-packages

How early do couples need to book you?

Q Station recommends that couples book their wedding a minimum of 3 months out to make sure they are able to attend the menu tasting event and can try the food before the day. Closer bookings can be taken but availability may be limited.

What time at night can weddings stay at your venue?

The curfew time at Q Station is 11pm, due to our nearby accommodation buildings and wildlife in the National Park. We find this works for most couples since the reception packages are 5 hours long – that way they still get their outdoor ceremony in the daylight.

Do you offer accommodation options?

Yes – Q Station has 84 accommodation rooms and can house your wedding guests.

What other (if any) wedding services do you offer?

Q Station offers a range of wedding packages as well as function spaces for engagement parties and fun ghost tours for the hens! See our website for more information www.qstation.com.au

How can people get in contact with you?

People can get in contact with us through our website or by directly contacting our dedicated Wedding Coordinator on 02 9466 1544 or H8773-SB3@accor.com
