Wedding: Canada: Kingston

In 2014 I was asked to photograph a wedding in Canada. I didn't realise I was about to fall in love with the most welcoming, lovely family I've ever met. Over the course of a week I became good friends with Ellie and Josh's family, ultimately feeling like part of the extended gang. I was thrilled then when I heard from Ellie's sister Naomi a few years later. She and Nils live and work in Brussels but were getting married in Canada and wondered if I would be interested in going back to capture their wedding. I didn't hesitate.

Stepping back into the family for their day was like a homecoming. It cemented the love I have for their family, and wedding or not, I know I'll go back.
