Tell us about your venue. How long have you been holding weddings and how many weddings do you hold per year?

The Ramada Geneva is located on beautiful Seneca Lake with stunning views of the surrounding waterfront.

We have the ability to have an intimate ceremony under our Seneca Terrace tent steps from the water and an elegant reception in our well-appointed ballroom. The packages range from our simple Love Note to our dreamy Love Story. Keep in mind, our packages are a stepping stone to begin creating the perfect day. We can catering times, menus and décor options to fit a specific theme. In addition, you will have a wedding coordinator working with you throughout the planning, no detail will be overlooked.

Why should a couple consider your venue over other venues?

Couples should consider the Ramada Geneva Lakefront for its location, first. But in addition, the attention to detail that they will receive from me as their wedding specialist. Weddings are my forte with the hotel. I love everything from the moment a couple sign with me to the actual day of ceremony and reception. Planning a wedding is stressful and a lot of work but that is why I am here. My job is to make it an enjoyable and memorable experience.

What’s the first thing couples usually ask when they come and see you?

Some of the questions couples ask, since the Ramada is a full service hotel, the big question will involve room blocks for their guests.

We provide a room block at a special wedding rate for their guests to stay with us. Other questions involve the tasting and the ability to have a ceremony and reception on property, which we do both.

What size functions can you hold/host?

The Ramada’s ballroom can hold a function up to 220 people.

Can couples bring in their own caterer? What about alcohol?

We are a full service hotel and can provide all food and beverage needs for our guests. Outside catering is not needed, unless there are menu requirements that my staff would not be able to deliver. For example: We have had requests for a combination Indian/American reception. My staff is creative but not necessarily fluent with the flavors of Indian cuisine. So in this instance, we would co collaborate on cooking and menus with an outside source.

Can the ceremony be held at your venue?

We have a beautiful waterside tent to hold ceremonies.

Are the couple free to decorate as they like?

I am always open to new ideas to decorate both the ballroom and ceremony space. I am a very creative individual myself and Pinterest junkie. If we can create a look that will take the event to that next level, I am game.

If your venue is outdoors is there a backup space in case of rain?

The cocktail hour, we always want to have by the waterfront. If the weather is not cooperating, the Seneca Terrace Tent could provide a back up space.

Could you give our readers some indication of the range of prices for hiring your venue?

Our wedding packages range from $79-$150 per person. There are additional fees for the ballroom rental and ceremony on property.

How early do couples need to book you?

Generally, we booked 1-3 years in advance. Currently, we are filling in empty slots for the 2019 season and are focused on the 2020 wedding season.

What time at night can weddings stay at your venue?

All of our wedding packages are booked for a 5 hour period. We generally do not allow events to go past 11PM. Primarily due to the fact that there are sleeping rooms above the ballroom and the bass from the music can be disruptive.

What other (if any) wedding services do you offer?

We have the ability to host rehearsal dinners or brunch the following morning. Bridal showers.
